IIT-Jules F. Knapp Entrepreneurship Center Honors Founder and Board Members for Service

On Tuesday, February 17, Illinois Institute of Technology vice presidents, alumni, members of the IIT-Jules F. Knapp Entrepreneurship Center board, and Chicago-area venture capitalists, angel investors, and supporters of Chicago’s entrepreneurial community were invited to a special reception at the university to celebrate the progress of the IIT-Knapp Center and the many people who have contributed to its success. At the ceremony, IIT President John Anderson and Provost Alan Cramb spoke about the vision for entrepreneurship and innovation at IIT, as well as the importance of the IIT-Knapp Center to the university and the City of Chicago. Knapp Center joined by Jules Knapp at Small Business Expo

The Knapp Center was joined by Jules Knapp at the Chicago Treasurer’s Seventh Annual Small Business Expo at the new UIC Forum. The event attracted over 130 exhibitors and many participants that sought to increase their entrepreneurship and business opportunities. There were also 20 workshops on topics ranging from business plan preparation to franchising. Read more…
